What is a fire extinguisher stand?

A fire extinguisher stand is a floor-standing holder that keeps a portable extinguisher upright, off the floor and easy to pick up. It needs no drilling, so it suits glass, marble, panelled or rented walls where wall brackets are not allowed.

A unit on a stand is easier to see, does not get kicked or covered, and always goes back to the same marked spot after inspection or cleaning.

Where to use a fire extinguisher stand

• Offices and co-working spaces: near exits, pantries and server cabinets.
• Malls and showrooms: on shop floors, atriums and escalator landings.
• Lobbies and receptions: in hotels, hospitals, banks and residential towers.
• Warehouses and factories: along aisles and near loading bays, for heavier units.
• Events and temporary sites: anywhere a fixed bracket is not practical.

Place the stand near an exit or along the escape route, in clear view, and keep the area in front of it free of boxes and furniture.

Choosing the right size and colour

Our fire extinguisher floor stand comes in four versions:

Red, for 4–6 kg or Black, for 4–6 kg: for the 4 kg and 6 kg units most offices, shops and lobbies use.

Red, for 9 kg or Black, for 9 kg: for larger units in factories, warehouses and parking areas.

Red keeps the unit easy to spot. Black suits premium interiors, showrooms and hotel lobbies where the stand should blend in with the design.
