A foam type fire extinguisher covers a burning liquid with a foam blanket. The foam cuts off air and seals the surface, which helps stop the fire from re-igniting. Use it on petrol, diesel, oil and paint fires (Class B) and on solid materials such as wood, paper and cloth (Class A). FireSpray foam units use AFFF foam.

Foam is not for electrical fires. On live panels, use CO2 or clean agent instead.

Choose 6 L for workshops, garages and DG rooms, and 9 L for larger fuel and factory areas. Where large volumes of fuel are stored, add a mechanical foam fire extinguisher on wheels.
