CO2 fire extinguisher use: which type of fire?
CO2 is used for Class B (petrol, diesel, oil, paint) and electrical fires: panels, meter rooms, DG rooms, server and UPS areas. It is the answer to "which fire extinguisher is used for electrical fire", because it leaves no powder on equipment. It is not ideal for deep-seated wood or paper fires, and should not be used in small closed rooms with people inside.
