What the warranty covers
Clear cover, in writing
Our fire extinguisher warranty is simple: if it's a manufacturing fault, we replace the unit.
What's not covered
- Units discharged, refilled or opened outside our factory
- Physical damage from accidents, misuse, fire or improper storage
- Normal cosmetic wear on the body or label
- Units without an invoice from FireSpray or an authorised seller
Keep it ready
The 30-second monthly check
Do this once a month. It keeps your extinguisher ready and your warranty easy to claim.
Gauge in the green
The needle should stay in the green zone. If it drops with the seal intact, that's a warranty claim.
Pin and seal in place
The safety pin and tamper seal must be intact. A broken seal means the unit may have been used.
Body and hose
No dents, rust or leaks on the cylinder, and no cracks in the hose or nozzle.
In its place
Mounted at its marked spot, easy to reach, nothing blocking it.
Replace, don't refill
Why we give five years
A refill opens a sealed pressure vessel outside the factory. We'd rather build a unit that stays sealed and stand behind it for five years.

What is the warranty period of a FireSpray fire extinguisher?
Every FireSpray fire extinguisher has a 5-year warranty from the date on your invoice. Many extinguishers sold in India come with about one year of cover.
What does the fire extinguisher warranty cover?

How do I check the expiry date of my fire extinguisher?
Look at the label on the cylinder for the manufacturing date and batch number, and keep your invoice, which starts the warranty. Check the gauge every month: the needle should stay in the green zone.
What is the expiry period of a fire extinguisher in India?
Service life depends on the type, the agent and how the unit is stored and maintained. Buildings usually follow IS 2190 for inspection and maintenance. A FireSpray unit stays factory-sealed and is covered for 5 years; if it is used on a fire, replace it.
Does refilling void the warranty?
Yes. A unit that has been discharged, opened or refilled outside our factory is no longer covered, because the factory seal, agent and pressure test can no longer be guaranteed.
